It breaks my heart just reading about abused kids, seeing a really old beggar on the streets abandoned by his/her children and just… watching the word slowly end. I feel this urgency to step up and make a change. Be the change that I want to see in this world. Make a difference. But I can’t do it alone and thus this leaves me feeling so helpless. If everyone were to do their part then maybe, just maybe, this world will change. And this world will become something better yet to come.
Teenagers, step up of your comfort zones. We can’t do this any longer. We can’t just sit back and not take notice of what’s happening around us. The world needs us. WE are the future generation.
Why do we have to fight all the time? Where are there so many wars and misunderstandings? Religion. It’s such a sensitive topic. We were thought to have a religion since young. We learn that in Moral. ” Kepercayaan kepada Tuhan” cause apparently, having a religion helps us make right choices. But the ironic thing us, religion- sad to say, many a times, is a cause of war.
If we truly stand up for what we believe in, instead of fighting it out, killing one another, setting places of worship on fire and burning holy books, why can’t be just act out love? Actions speak louder than words. People will see, through our actions that we are what we believe in. We don’t need to point a gun at them and force them into something they’re not interested in.
My fellow friends, we are all sucked up in this world, where we all try to be cool, we try to fit in, we try to stand out in our own weird ways, we say stupid things and we hurt others just to get accepted by a certain group of people. Why try to fit in when we were born to stand out? Why try so hard to be carbon copies of one another when God created us just the way we were?
You- yes, you. You- the person reading this. YOU, my dear, are special. very very special and unqiue. So don’t try to be someone you’re not. Be who you are and.. people will love you for it :)
